Emphasis on quality and aseptic practices Job Description The Sterile Production IPT, part of Merck’s Animal Health facility in Salamanca, is responsible for the manufacturing and conditioning of sterile pharmaceutical products, including bulk manufacturing, aseptic packaging, and FPU packaging. The facility operates as an integrated node within our global manufacturing network to ensure the highest quality of intermediate biological and finished products, consistently applying the “Safe by Choice – Quality Always” philosophy across all activities. To strengthen our Aseptic Packaging team at the Salamanca facility, we seek a proactive, organized, and team-oriented individual willing to perform **operator** duties within the Packaging area. **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform required activities during the aseptic packaging process. * Receive and prepare materials required for packaging processes. * Monitor environmental conditions of the cleanroom and packaging equipment during packaging operations to ensure compliance. * Perform required activities during the packaging process while adhering to aseptic practices. * Perform cleaning/disinfection procedures for the work area and associated equipment. * Conduct environmental microbiological monitoring during the process. * Collect and manage samples. * Complete and review batch documentation, ensuring timely and error-free submission. * Maintain personal training status and responsibility. **Requirements:** * Minimum 1 year of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. * Experience in aseptic packaging processes and aseptic practices in classified cleanrooms (Grade A/B). * Knowledge of aseptic packaging processes for inactivated vaccines, culture media, solutions, and diluents. * Familiarity with equipment cleaning and sterilization processes. * Knowledge of SCADA, SAP, and Labware systems.
