




Summary: SAVOSA is seeking a welder for the Maintenance Department of the Treatment Area, responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial machinery. Highlights: 1. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery. 2. Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures. 3. Interpret technical drawings and select appropriate welding procedures. Serveis Ambientals del Vallès Oriental, S.A., hereinafter SAVOSA, requires initiating a selection process to fill a welder position assigned to the Maintenance Department of the Treatment Area. • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and installations. • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures. • Assemble, adjust, and commission machinery and production lines. • Prepare and condition metallic surfaces for welding. • Interpret drawings, sketches, and technical instructions. • Select the appropriate welding procedure (MIG/MAG, TIG, electrode arc, oxy-acetylene, etc.). • Adjust and regulate welding machine parameters according to material and work requirements. • Perform precise welding, repairs, and assembly of metallic parts. • Verify weld quality using visual inspection or specific testing methods. • Cut, polish, and prepare parts using manual and electric tools. • Apply quality and safety measures in welding and correctly use personal protective equipment (PPE). • Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition. • Collaborate in assembling metallic structures and installations. * Minimum 3 years’ experience. a) Three years’ experience in industrial environments performing maintenance and repair tasks involving welding techniques (TIG, MIG/MAG, electrode arc, or oxy-acetylene) and using cutting and finishing tools (angle grinder, saw, milling machine, or bending machine). b) Experience and/or knowledge in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics (paper-based and digital formats). c) Experience and/or knowledge in using measuring tools (welding gauges, calipers, compasses, tape measures, etc.). d) Experience and knowledge in using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). * Vocational Training Qualification (FPII) or Higher Vocational Training Certificate (CFGS) in Welding and Boilermaking or Mechanical Manufacturing. * Catalan (spoken and written at an advanced level) * Spanish (spoken and written at an advanced level) * Availability of personal vehicle * Driving license: B * Permanent employment contract * Full-time working hours * Other relevant information: Annual gross salary: 29\.605,72 €
