**The opportunity:**
The **Financial Advisory** service line is part of EY FAAS (Financial Accounting and Advisory Services) and specializes in two areas: financial advisory and market/financial instrument risk management. We support all types of companies in achieving their objectives through the development of distinctive projects and innovative strategies that enable them to face the changing environment of financial markets, achieving the operational excellence needed to thrive.
With the goal of continued growth, we are seeking to hire a new **Senior** professional specialized in “Financial and Market Risk Management,” with the versatility and critical thinking necessary to work in teams and manage demanding projects across different areas of financial consulting—from diagnosing corporate situations and optimizing financial structures to managing financial risks, valuing derivatives, and interpreting and implementing new financial and accounting regulations.
**Key responsibilities and work areas:**
* Advisory on market risk management:
+ Development of risk maps and risk management policies.
+ Design of interest rate, foreign exchange, commodities, and energy risk management strategies.
+ Support in contracting financial instruments offered by financial institutions. Accounting treatment and documentation.
+ Monitoring portfolios of financial instruments (valuation, credit risk analysis, regulatory compliance, sensitivities).
+ Implementation of financial and accounting regulations (Spanish GAAP, IFRS 9, IFRS 16).
* Financial analysis and corporate diagnosis:
+ Business plans.
+ Projections.
+ Identification of risks and opportunities.
+ Definition of alternatives for improving financial management.
+ Financing and support in restructuring.
* Macroeconomic analysis and technical analysis.
**Essential requirements:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or similar.
* At least 3 years of relevant experience.
* Advanced level of English.
* Advanced proficiency in Office Suite. Bloomberg. Reuters.
**Desirable requirements:**
* Additional financial training highly valued (master’s degree, passed CFA Level I).
* Team-oriented individuals with proactivity and client focus.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to change.

We will receive calls from clients of a well-known bank who have various inquiries and doubts, and our mission will be to resolve the reason for each call.
