Job Summary: We are seeking a Financial Controller to provide comprehensive support to the Regional Financial Controller in analysis, reporting, compliance, and risk management within Europe Commodities. Continuous improvement of financial processes At present, as a recruitment consultancy, we are searching on behalf of our client for a **Financial Controller**, whose mission will be to provide comprehensive support to the Regional Financial Controller across all aspects of financial analysis, reporting, compliance, and business collaboration within the Europe Commodities area. The candidate will contribute to ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial processes, support risk management activities, and contribute to the effective functioning of finance teams in the region. **RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS** * Assist in preparing financial analyses, budgets, forecasts, and business cases for the area. * Support the monthly closing process, ensuring data accuracy and adherence to deadlines. * Assist in intercompany reconciliations of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss accounts. * Monitor monthly tax provisions and tax calculations for the area. * Manage statutory reconciliation processes: accounting and legal. * Support credit control and risk management activities, identifying and escalating potential risks. * Collaborate on internal control, policy, and procedure compliance (e.g., CFAM, GFAL, LFAL). * Monitor budget execution and provide variance analysis. * Collaborate with department heads to collect necessary information for budget preparation. * Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and reports. * Prepare exception and variance reports for review by the Regional Financial Controller. * Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting. **REQUIREMENTS** * **Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.** * **More than 5 years of experience in finance or controlling within a multinational environment.** * Knowledge of IFRS and experience in both local and group accounting processes. * Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
