A Crochet Instructor position is offered to conduct two groups within the Socio-Cultural Workshops Program of Mairena del Aljarafe. Position Details Specialty: Crochet. Workplace: Lepanto Socio-Cultural Center. Municipality: Mairena del Aljarafe (Sevilla). Contract Period: from October 1, 2026 to June 15, 2027\. Weekly Schedule: 6 hours. Schedule: Mondays, from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00. * Group 1 – Participants aged 18 years and older: Mondays, from 17:00 to 20:00. * Group 2 – Participants aged 18 years and older: Mondays, from 10:00 to 13:00. Functions and Responsibilities * Plan and deliver crochet sessions adapted to participants’ skill levels and prior knowledge. * Progressively teach basic and advanced crochet techniques, including stitches, finishing methods, and various types of projects. * Guide and support students in completing individual and collective projects. * Adapt content and methodology to different learning levels. * Monitor attendance and track participants’ progress. * Foster creativity, autonomy, and active participation throughout the workshop. * Collaborate in promotional activities, demonstrations, and exhibitions of workshop projects organized under the workshops program. Requirements * Knowledge and proficiency in crochet techniques. * Experience delivering textile craft workshops or related activities. * Ability to adapt teaching methodology to diverse learning levels and paces. * Communication, organizational, and teamwork skills. * Ability to develop practical projects and support students during their execution. Preferred Qualifications * Experience as an instructor for socio-cultural workshops in crochet, textile crafts, handicrafts, or similar techniques. * Experience in municipal programs or activities targeting adult populations. * Experience preparing exhibitions or demonstrations of workshop projects.
