A sports organization with a broad customer base and multiple business lines, generating a high volume of data from various touchpoints. In a phase of acceleration and evolution of its data and technology strategy, focused on improving customer insight and decision-making efficiency. Description * Define and evolve the data architecture, ensuring scalability and alignment with the technology roadmap. * Design and implement the Data Platform (Salesforce Data 360\), coordinating implementation partners, Olocip, and the internal team. * Establish the data governance model: quality, lineage, security, and regulatory compliance (GDPR). * Conduct in-depth audits of built components: data lake, golden data record, and key integrations (SSO, CRM, ERP). * Generate technical documentation as a foundation for knowledge transfer. * Act as Project Manager for the most complex data projects (Data Platform, Phase 4 of the Data Lake, integrations with new ERPs). * Coordinate external vendors and implementers, ensuring adherence to timelines, technical quality, and knowledge transfer. * Support development of Power BI reporting layers with guidance on data sources and reporting architecture. * Lead or supervise integrations between the data lake and core systems: ERP Finance, ERP Retail, Salesforce CRM, and Marketing Cloud. Who are we looking for? Education and Knowledge * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Telecommunications, or a related field. * Postgraduate education in Data Engineering, Cloud Architecture, or Data Management is a plus. * Proficiency in Azure (Data Lake, Data Factory, Synapse, or equivalents). Azure certifications (AZ\-900, DP\-203, or equivalents) are a strong differentiator. * Solid SQL skills and proficiency in at least one data-oriented programming language (Python preferred). * Familiarity with modern data architectures: medallion architecture, data mesh, lakehouse. * Ability to independently audit code, pipelines, and third-party integrations. * Familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem (Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data 360\) as a data consumption layer. Experience Mandatory * Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or similar roles. * Proven experience working with Azure Data Lake or equivalent platforms (AWS, GCP) in production environments. * Experience designing and implementing data integrations across heterogeneous systems (ERP, CRM, digital platforms). * Experience managing or coordinating external data partners/vendors. * Experience in Power BI or other BI/reporting tool projects connected to complex data layers. Highly Desirable * Experience implementing Customer Data Platforms (CDP): Salesforce Data Cloud/Data 360, Segment, mParticle, or similar. * Experience in entertainment, sports, retail, or digital media sectors — environments with large user bases and rich fan/customer behavioral data. * Experience leading technical capability internalization processes. * Experience building or developing data teams from early stages.
