Your Role at Iberia:
This position focuses on the development and implementation of new component-level repair schemes—subject to intellectual property restrictions, audited and approved by OEM—for CFM56, V2500, GTF, and, where applicable, LEAP engines. The role also involves redesigning, improving, and optimizing existing repair process flows across the entire Repair Shop, ensuring required quality standards are met and EBIT is maximized while minimizing TAT and fulfilling customer OTD expectations within established competitive objectives.
Working within a Lean philosophy and a Continuous Improvement environment, you will be responsible for the technical and sequential optimization of integration between Technological Repair Service Centers (e.g., plasma, machining, etc.) and Centres of Excellence (CoE)/Repair Cells (e.g., blade cells, tubular cells, etc.). Additionally, you will identify technological gaps and improvement opportunities to support more efficient process flows, ensuring each Repair Order is completed in accordance with its contractual requirements.
You will also actively contribute to promoting and developing initiatives aimed at internalizing currently outsourced repairs, thereby expanding the Repair Shop’s internal repair capabilities and overall operational efficiency.
Your Challenges:
* Repair schemes/design and process flow development, as well as deviation detection, analysis, and mitigation.
* Component-level repair orders aligned with expected business outcomes.
* Lean and SMED implementation, as well as development of Continuous Improvement initiatives.
* Implementation methodologies and best practices.
* Enhancing system automation.
* CAPEX Continuous Development Plan and its execution
Your Qualifications:
* Degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical/Materials Engineering.
* Fluency in English, minimum B2 level or TOEIC score of 785.
* 3 years of experience in industrial facilities and related work environments.

* **We Keep It Simple and Efficient**: You focus on what matters most—analyzing situations and eliminating non-value-adding activities.
* **Safety Is in Our DNA**: We maintain the same attention and care from day one—in every ground operation, in every flight. We know our processes and apply them rigorously.
