We are currently seeking a JAVA Backend profile for a development project with a hybrid working model in Madrid and the option to work remotely. What are we looking for in you? * Minimum 5 years of experience as a JAVA developer. * B2 level English for reading and writing technical documentation and written communication with international teams. * Experience with Spring Boot 2 and Spring Cloud. * Knowledge of Hibernate, JPA, and PostgreSQL. * Experience with Apache Kafka. * Experience with JUnit for testing. * Knowledge of Gradle. * Experience in developing and integrating REST APIs, gRPC, and Protocol Buffers (Protobuf). * Experience in microservice-based applications. * Experience in deploying and operating applications on AWS Cloud. * Knowledge of design patterns, software development best practices, and software architecture. * Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) processes and automation of the development lifecycle. * Experience in unit, integration, and end\-to\-end testing. * Knowledge of Git, GitHub, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, Postman, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, and Jira. **Your responsibilities:** * Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. * Develop and evolve applications based on microservice architectures. * Implement and maintain REST APIs and gRPC services. * Integrate applications using event-driven architectures with Apache Kafka. * Design and optimize data access using PostgreSQL, Hibernate, and JPA. * Write clean and maintainable code. * Implement unit, integration, and end\-to\-end tests. * Participate in code reviews and continuous team improvement. * Collaborate with the Tech Lead, Product Owner, and the rest of the team throughout the development lifecycle. * Participate in CI/CD processes and deployment of solutions on AWS.
