




**Who are we?** Esment is a non-profit organization founded in 1962. Our purpose is to support and accompany people with significant difficulties so they can enjoy a good life, and to contribute to a society that respects diversity, is inclusive, and based on rights. Currently, we are 1,080 professionals in Mallorca and serve over 2,000 people. Within the foundation, we carry out various activities; through our businesses and clients, we generate opportunities for socio-labor integration. In the food sector, we operate four cafés in Mallorca (Café Palma, Inca, Escola, and Palmanova), and we are now opening a selection process to hire a Cook. **Selection Process** We want to offer our candidates a positive experience. The process will typically consist of three interviews: the first one will be conducted by phone to establish initial contact, while the following ones will generally be in person. We seek committed individuals who are passionate about cooking and about doing high-quality work. **What will be your main responsibilities?** · Prepare dishes according to recipes, quality standards, and restaurant requirements. · Ensure all preparations follow the procedures established by the food safety department. · Manage procurement, receipt, and storage of raw materials. · Use, clean, and maintain kitchen utensils, equipment, and machinery in good condition. · Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations. · Participate in menu planning, suggestions, and improvements in food preparation. · Adapt to service needs, including events, menu changes, and special schedules. · Maintain a professional, proactive attitude focused on continuous improvement. · Train and supervise task execution for individuals requiring support, adapting tasks to their needs. **Job Requirements:** · Medium-level vocational training in hospitality or at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. **We value:** · Valid driver's license and personal vehicle · Having been or currently being a volunteer at Esment **Why Esment?** · **Typical working hours:** From 9:00 to 17:15. Two consecutive days off per week. · **Working schedule:** Full-time, distributed over 224 working days per year. · **Vacations** will coincide with closure periods or low-activity seasons. · **Compensation:** Salary will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications, with a minimum annual gross salary band of €20,914 for 2025. · Possibility to voluntarily join the **Flexible Compensation Plan**, offering tax advantages: health insurance (Sanitas), childcare, training, etc. · Learning and development: o Training: 25 hours/year during working hours.
