As part of our growth in the Defense sector, we are seeking to hire a Chief Engineer to lead a strategic Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) program, playing a key technical leadership role in technical direction, multidisciplinary coordination, and ensuring system integrity throughout its lifecycle.

What will you do?
* Lead technical planning and coordination across all program phases, ensuring alignment among diverse engineering disciplines and project objectives.
* Serve as the program’s highest technical authority, ensuring sound decision-making on architecture, integration, and system performance.
* Coordinate and provide technical supervision to suppliers and subcontractors, delivering guidance, support, and ensuring compliance with established quality standards.
* Plan and manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, materials, and required technical capabilities for execution.
* Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of milestones, deliverables, and contractual commitments.
* Drive implementation and improvement of engineering processes, methodologies, and tools, promoting best practices within the team.
* Ensure technical integrity of the system throughout its entire lifecycle—from design and development through integration, validation, and final acceptance.
* Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, facilitating collaboration among systems, RF, software, hardware, and integration domains.
* Identify technical risks, propose mitigation plans, and ensure efficient management of deviations and incidents.
* Participate in technical reviews with customers, defense agencies, and other stakeholders, representing the program on engineering matters.
* Supervise the generation, review, and control of associated technical documentation.
* Contribute to defining integration, verification, and validation strategies for complex systems.

* More than 5 years of experience in systems engineering for complex systems within defense, security, aerospace, or similar technology-intensive environments.
* Proven experience leading engineering teams in multidisciplinary programs.
* Solid knowledge of systems engineering and lifecycle management of complex systems.
* Experience with RF technologies, sensors, communications, or electronic warfare systems.
* Ability to coordinate suppliers, technology partners, and distributed teams.
* Experience in integration, validation, and acceptance of complex systems.
* Familiarity with engineering methodologies, processes, and tools applied to large-scale technology programs.
* Technical leadership, decision-making, and risk management capabilities.
* Advanced English proficiency for working in international environments.
* Willingness to undertake occasional domestic and international travel.
