At The Whiteam Consulting we are looking for a **Data Engineer with English and at least 2\-3 years of experience** to join an important long-term multinational company project in Madrid **What are we looking for?** We need you to have expertise in: ️ Spark in Scala ️ B2 level English. Fluent written and spoken. Additional technical skills that will be valued include: HDFS, CI/CD (Gitlab, Jenkins...), Apache Airflow, Kafka, event stream...), Shell script, Kubernetes, SQL, Elasticsearch, Kibana, HVault, Dremio, Dataiku... **What will your responsibilities be?** * Data modeling and development of pipelines with Spark in Scala to ingest and transform data from various sources (Kafka topics, APIs, HDFS, structured databases...). * Data transformation and quality assurance to ensure consistency and accuracy. * Configuration of CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments, unit testing, and development management. * Implementation of different orchestrators and scheduling processes to automate data pipeline execution (Airflow as a service). * Modification of existing code according to business requirements and continuous improvement to achieve better performance and maintainability. * Ensuring the performance and security of the data infrastructure and following best practices in data engineering. * Contributing to production support, incident resolution, anomaly correction, and implementation of functional and technical enhancements to ensure stability of production processes. * Writing technical documentation to ensure knowledge retention. **How will you work?** Work mode: **hybrid, in Madrid, with 75% remote work** Salary range: 38\.000€ G.A. or higher, depending on profile/experience. **Company** Being part of THEWHITEAM means collaborating with a company made up of professionals with extensive experience in technology consulting.
