With over 40 years of experience, SOCOTEC develops technical solutions focused on quality, safety, sustainability, and risk management, participating in highly complex national and international projects. **JOB DESCRIPTION** SOCOTEC Spain is seeking a Building Surveyor to join its Quality Control team in Vitoria. The selected candidate will participate in technical inspection, control, and evaluation activities across various building elements, combining fieldwork with the preparation of technical documentation and reports. This position offers the opportunity to specialize in construction quality control, materials testing, structural inspection, and verification of installations. We seek a candidate with genuine interest in building a career in inspection and quality control. Prior experience is not mandatory; instead, technical education, capacity for learning, and motivation to grow within this specialty will be especially valued. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Conducting technical inspections and controls in construction * Participating in activities related to energy certifications * Collecting data and supporting the preparation of structural technical reports * Monitoring and controlling concrete testing * Participating in non-destructive testing applied to structures and materials * Performing and monitoring watertightness tests * Inspecting and controlling roofs * Reviewing sanitation networks * Performing and controlling technical tests and inspections of installations * Coordinating with lab technicians and operational staff to execute field tests and tasks * Preparing documentation and technical reports associated with performed inspections **ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS** * Education: Technical Architecture, Building Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent degree * Interest in pursuing a professional career in quality control, technical inspection, and testing applied to construction * Ability to combine fieldwork with preparation of technical documentation * Organizational skills and ability to work in a team * Fluent Spanish * Valid Class B driving license **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** * Prior experience in construction quality control * Knowledge of concrete and construction materials testing * Experience or knowledge in structural inspection and evaluation * Knowledge of non-destructive testing * Experience in energy certifications * Knowledge of building installations * Experience in watertightness testing, roof inspection, or sanitation network inspection **CONDITIONS** * Location: Vitoria * Contract type: Permanent * Working hours: Full-time * Work mode: On-site **BENEFITS:** * Flexible compensation program * December 24th and 31st off * Birthday leave day * Travel allowances where applicable * Training and specialization in various inspection and quality control techniques * Participation in construction and technical control projects * Professional development within an international company * Integration into a specialized technical team
