Packaging Engineer

We are currently seeking to fill a Packaging Engineer position at our headquarters in Barcelona. **What will your role be?** Reporting to the Head of the Packaging Department and as part of the engineering team, you will be responsible for: * Developing, designing, conducting plant tests, and approving new packaging materials and containers for the group's biscuit brands. * Supporting daily factory operations and resolving potential incidents or improvement needs on production sites, leveraging your knowledge of materials, processes, and production lines. * Managing packaging projects related to product improvements and launches, as well as other initiatives impacting sustainability and the use of alternative materials. * Optimizing logistics and transportation while complying with established quality standards. * Liaising with plant teams as well as departments including Logistics, Engineering, R\+D, Quality, and Procurement. * Managing documentation related to quality, technical drawings, and logistics data. **What are we looking for?** * Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent. * Experience in industrial project management, packaging, or process engineering; experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) is desirable. * Knowledge of sustainable materials, biopolymers, and circular economy is a plus. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, SAP, and Cape Pack is highly valued. * Willingness and availability to travel to the group’s production facilities across northern Spain. **What do we offer?** * Joining a company offering professional growth opportunities within an environment heavily invested in innovative projects. * Opportunity to work on diverse projects involving various materials. * Being based at HQ ensures constant interaction with the Industrial, Engineering, and Marketing departments, as well as proximity to all business areas. * A dynamic and innovative work environment. * We encourage you to contribute ideas and improvement proposals.
