Job Summary: We are seeking a Custom Software Engineer for a strategic banking project, developing core business solutions following sound development practices. Key Highlights: 1. We seek to hire a Custom Software Engineer to work on a strategic banking-sector project, contributing to the development of core business solutions within the technology domain. The position is based in Madrid under a hybrid work model—working some days from home and others from the office, where you can build meaningful synergies with your team members. Residency in Spain and valid work authorization in Spain are mandatory. Responsibilities: * Backend application development using Python, ensuring adherence to sound development practices and code quality standards. * Design and development of user interfaces using Java Swing for internal business applications. * Analysis and resolution of recurring technical issues, identifying patterns and proposing scalable solutions. * Participation in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement within agile environments (Scrum / Kanban). Accountabilities: * Development and maintenance of software components in distributed environments, ensuring performance and scalability. * Application of clean code principles, automated testing, and version control (Git) in daily development. * Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to define technical solutions aligned with business requirements. * Serving as the Python technical reference within the team, sharing expertise and best practices. Qualifications: Mandatory Requirements: * Minimum 2 years of professional software development experience. * Expert-level experience with Python. * Accredited C1 level of English proficiency. * University degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related disciplines. * Expert-level experience in GUI development with Java Swing. Knowledge and experience in generative artificial intelligence and AI tools applied to the role are required, aligned with Accenture’s commitment to the responsible and effective use of AI.
