**Systems Engineer** ======================== **Location:** 30310, Cartagena At Bertrandt, we are looking for a **Systems Engineer** to join a large-scale project within the Defense sector. The project involves the **definition, design, development, integration, and validation/verification** of the platform control system (SICP) for the BHC program. This system integrates power management (PMS), propulsion (PROP), internal communication, and system status supervision functions for naval environments. **Responsibilities** * Requirements analysis, initial architecture, system design, interfaces, and generation of preliminary definition documentation. * Detailed hardware design, component selection, schematics, and supporting documentation for Hardware Critical Design Review. * Development of embedded and supervision software, SW requirements specification, test protocols, SW architecture and interface design. * Planning, execution, and analysis of hardware integration tests (HIT), including technical report generation and documentation updates. * Software qualification testing (SWQT) of PMS and PROP modules, network and performance testing, result analysis, and requirement updates. **Requirements** * Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, Aerospace or Industrial Engineering. * Demonstrable experience in **engineering of critical embedded systems**, specifically in **specification, design, HW/SW validation and integration** of systems for naval or aerospace platforms. * Knowledge of tools such as **IBM DOORS**, **Jazz (RTC/RM), Enterprise Architect**, **JIRA**, **Git**, **TestStand**. * Experience writing specification and design documents such as: SRS, SDD, IRD, ICD, STR, STP, SWQP. * Knowledge of communication buses. * English level B1 or higher. **We are Bertrandt.** An independent and international development service provider with extensive experience in the automotive industry.
