We are currently seeking **a Systems Engineer** for a major client. This is a permanent, long-term position with an important international client. Responsibilities: As part of the Systems Engineering team, the selected candidate will perform the following responsibilities, among others: * Implementation of the **requirement quality verification process** using Requirements Quality Suite (RQS). * Management and verification of requirements, supporting the definition of **requirement traceability**. * Development and maintenance of **dashboards** for the Systems Engineering team. * Interface management. * Development of relevant documentation. * Development and maintenance of tracking tools at each project phase. * Creation in IBM Rational DOORS database of projects for contract management. * Providing technical staff support for identification and propagation of received requirements. * Supporting technical staff in improving requirement quality. * Importing technical specifications developed by technical staff in MS Word into DOORS. * Participating in contract kick-off meetings to explain to suppliers how requirements are managed within the DOORS infrastructure. * Supporting suppliers in using the DOORS infrastructure. * Supporting technical staff in requirement validation tasks. * Analyzing the impact of requirement changes. * Drafting reports to communicate the status of requirement management in a contract. * Contributing to improvement of requirement management procedures. * Specifying enhancements to the DOORS infrastructure and supporting the development team for testing and production deployment. * Writing user manuals. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Engineering or Information Technology Essential skills: * English: minimum B2\. * Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel. * Ability to draft technical documents in English. * Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. * Ability to focus on priorities and organize work, as well as to complete tasks on time and to the agreed standard. * IBM Rational DOORS * Service-oriented attitude. * Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to interact with Client representatives. Experience: Minimum 7 years’ experience as a Systems Engineer is mandatory. Experience will be verified. Experience in **requirement management and verification** for complex systems (aerospace, defense, industrial). Proficiency with requirement databases in tools such as IBM **Rational DOORS**. Experience with tools and procedures for generating metrics and reports related to requirement management. Support to other project teams. Knowledge and experience in **configuration management**. Experience in developing procedures and policies. Experience with project management methodologies.
