This role is designed for experienced professionals who have grown from technical roles and are now able to **lead teams, manage clients, ensure delivery excellence, and provide architectural guidance** when required by the project. We are not seeking a purely administrative manager: we seek someone who understands technology, makes informed decisions, and serves as a reference point both for the client and the team. You will work closely with the Data & AI area leadership, enjoying real autonomy, visibility, and direct accountability for quality, client relationships, and sustainable service growth. **Hybrid position in Madrid, with occasional travel.** **What you’ll do daily** * Lead the management of Data & AI services and projects, ensuring goal achievement, deliverable quality, and client satisfaction. * Serve as the primary client contact in the Data & AI domain: manage expectations, prioritize needs, and guarantee long-term trust-based relationships. * Lead and develop teams of architects, data engineers, and senior profiles, fostering technical leadership, autonomy, and professional growth. * Ensure delivery excellence, collaborating with project managers on planning, monitoring, risk management, and incident resolution. * Provide technical and architectural guidance on complex projects: validate key decisions, unblock critical situations, and ensure technical consistency. * Actively participate in pre-sales, leading or supporting estimations, solution definition, RFP/RFI responses, and client sessions. * Drive continuous improvement of the area by defining standards, best practices, service models, and scalable ways of working. * Coordinate the management of multiple initiatives and clients, balancing priorities, team capacity, and commercial commitments. **Essential Requirements** * Minimum 10 years of experience in Data, Analytics, Cloud, or Artificial Intelligence projects. * Proven experience in service management and delivery within complex environments. * Solid technical foundation in Data & AI architectures (cloud, data platforms, analytics, ML), although the role is not 100% hands-on. * Experience leading senior technical teams and architecture profiles. * Direct experience managing clients and consulting contexts. * Demonstrable pre-sales involvement: estimations, proposals, solution definition. * Advanced Spanish and English. * University degree (Bachelor’s/Master’s) or equivalent experience. **Preferred Qualifications** * Prior experience as an Architect, Technical Lead, or Technical Manager. * Knowledge of Azure, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, or other cloud data platforms. * Experience in MLOps, Generative AI, or data governance. * Cloud or management certifications. * Experience managing multiple clients or accounts simultaneously. **Soft Skills** * Mature and approachable leadership: you build trust, set direction, and develop talent. * Clear customer- and business-oriented mindset: you understand priorities, manage commitments, and pursue real impact. * Ability to make decisions in complex contexts and with incomplete information. * Clear and structured communication, both with technical and executive profiles. * Strategic vision with execution focus: you define direction but dive into detail when necessary. * Autonomy and sense of responsibility: you take ownership of the area’s outcomes. **What we offer** * A key leadership role within the Data & AI area, with real impact on clients and the organization. * High autonomy and decision-making capacity. * Strategic projects and high technical complexity. * Professional growth within a rapidly expanding environment. * Collaborative, technical, and results-driven culture. * Hybrid model in Madrid and occasional travel. Competitive compensation package aligned with experience. * Bip Iberia, committed to and consistent with the Comprehensive Law on Equal Treatment and Non-Discrimination, opens all positions to any qualified individual regardless of age, disability, gender, sexual or political orientation, race, or belief.
