As a Research \& Development Trainee, you will support the development, optimization, and validation of new medical devices and materials for the Wound Care business division. **Responsibilities** * Coordinate product launch activities: * Coordinate and manage testing with suppliers, product documentation, and * Coordinate and support production testing by analyzing and reporting results obtained. * Assist in planning and managing initial launches with Production and R\&D Project Managers. * Manage materials used in testing with warehouse and suppliers. * Review and implement test methods: * Identify optimal parameters and operational windows for materials and products * Implement and validate methods * Train and scale methods to laboratory and production * Coordinate with the Quality department for method management and registration in the internal system * Characterize and investigate materials: * Source suppliers and develop new materials * Characterize new materials and support the laboratory * Manage safety documentation and collect technical information to build a database containing the most relevant project parameters * Purchase and manage laboratory materials * Compare materials to support decision-making **Requirements:** * We seek a proactive, organized individual passionate about working in R\&D within an international and multicultural environment. * You must be pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biomedicine, or health sciences. * Proficiency in Office tools is required. * You will collaborate with international suppliers and Hartmann Group subsidiaries, so a high level of English is preferred.
