Description
Are you passionate about mechanical systems engineering and eager to lead projects in Europe’s fastest-growing sector?
We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer specializing in HVAC and Piping to join a company undergoing rapid expansion and firmly established within a major international corporate group.
Unlike traditional construction management, this role focuses on technically demanding projects (80% centered on Data Centers / CPDs), based on an innovative 100% prefabricated and modular design model. This enables you to manage key European projects remotely from the office, ensuring a genuine balance between professional challenge and quality of life.
Your Mission and Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Project Coordination team, you will drive the planning, technical and economic management of each assignment, leading client relations and a multidisciplinary technical team (BIM, Procurement, Structures, Manufacturing, and Engineering Studies).
* End-to-end project management: Cost, schedule, deviation, and technical decision control—from inception through to handover.
* Technical coordination and prefabrication: Review of drawings and 3D models, risk identification, and validation of detailed engineering tailored for modular manufacturing.
* Key liaison: Primary point of contact for international clients, external engineering firms, and internal departments.
* Innovation and standardization: Active participation in internal R\+D working groups to optimize design and manufacturing processes.
* Occasional site supervision: Periodic site visits (10\-15 per year across Europe) for final coordination and project monitoring.
* Qualification: Industrial or Mechanical Engineering degree, or equivalent technical qualification.
* Experience: \+3 years managing mechanical systems projects (HVAC / Piping / Fluid Systems).
* Experience with highly complex projects (Data Centers, Healthcare, Industrial, or similar sectors).
* Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
* Advanced proficiency in 3D/BIM coordination software and MS Project (scheduling).
* Familiarity with ERP tools and estimating software (Presto or similar).
* Languages: English – B2 level, sufficient for technical meetings with international clients.
Key Competencies:
* Technical vision with strong emphasis on economic control and risk analysis.
* Focus on process standardization and industrialization.
* Excellent communication skills, rigorous documentation practices, and autonomy in decision-making.
* Stable and Future-Oriented Project: Join a solid, growing company backed by a major international corporate group.
* Cutting-Edge Sector: Directly contribute to developing critical infrastructure for Europe’s technology market (Data Centers).
* Work-Life Balance and Planning: A work model where engineering and manufacturing take place primarily in the office—drastically reducing travel and continuous on-site presence.
* Collaborative Environment: Work within a matrix structure supported by dedicated specialists assigned to your projects (BIM coordinator, procurement, structures, etc.).
* Covered Travel: Business trips fully funded by the company, with a fleet of vehicles available for project site visits.
* Social Benefits: Comprehensive benefits plan currently being rolled out following integration into the group.
