About the Role We are looking for an engineer specialized in optical fiber and optoelectronic systems to participate in the design, characterization, and validation of photonic solutions for the aerospace sector in Madrid (Getafe), in a hybrid working mode. The role focuses on designing, testing, and validating photonic and optical fiber systems for aerospace applications. It includes performing measurements, characterization, and technical reporting, integrating optical and electronic data. Job Responsibilities: * Conduct testing and characterization of optoelectronic components and systems. * Perform measurements and validations of optical fiber-based systems. * Prepare technical reports and analysis of results. * Define photonic system requirements and support the design of interrogation architectures. * Collaborate with suppliers and multidisciplinary teams in evaluating technical solutions. Required Profile: * Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Physics, or related field. * Experience in optoelectronic and optical fiber systems. * Knowledge of photonic/electronic instrumentation (oscilloscopes, electronic spectrum analyzers, laboratory power supplies). * Experience with data processing languages (MATLAB, Python, Mathworks). * Solid English proficiency for technical documentation and communication.
