At Orbis Terrarum, we are looking for a **Geologist – Geotechnical Engineer** to join us as a Field Technician. This role is critical to ensuring the success of our geotechnical projects worldwide. **What will you do in this role?** · Conduct field investigations, including geotechnical drilling, mechanical test pits, pull-out tests, in-situ testing, geological mapping, and soil and rock sampling. · Supervise and coordinate geotechnical activities on engineering projects, ensuring data quality and accuracy. · Carry out geotechnical tests and analyses, such as ground resistance testing, permeability measurements, and geophysical surveys. · Prepare technical reports with data interpretation and engineering solution recommendations. · Collaborate closely with geophysics, laboratory, and engineering teams to ensure field results are integrated into final design. · Participate in international projects related to renewable energy. **What are we looking for?** · Degree in Geology or Geological Engineering, preferably with experience in geotechnics. · Valid Spanish driving license (mandatory). · Practical knowledge of equipment and techniques used in field investigations. · Ability to work autonomously and responsibly. · Willingness and availability to travel and work at various locations nationally and internationally. · Proficiency with computer tools (AutoCAD, ArcGIS, geotechnical software). · Advanced English language skills; knowledge of additional languages is an asset. · Residence in Madrid. **What do we offer?** · Integration into a dynamic team working on challenging, globally impactful projects. · Continuous training and professional development opportunities in the geotechnical sector. · A work environment committed to technical excellence. · Competitive salary, with additional benefits for travel and international project work. · Opportunities for career growth within a continuously expanding company.
