At this moment, as a recruitment consultancy, we are seeking for our client a **Facilities Manager** for their food production plant located in the **Campo de Cartagena** (Murcia). **FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * **Facility maintenance management** * Ensure the proper operation of all production center facilities (industrial refrigeration, compressed air, electrical systems, water supply, and civil infrastructure/buildings). * Plan, supervise, and control preventive and corrective maintenance, both internal and external. * Define preventive maintenance plans to be executed by facility technicians. * **Subcontractor management** * Coordinate and supervise external companies performing maintenance or repair work. * Monitor quality, safety, and adherence to deadlines in subcontractor interventions. * Validate and monitor maintenance contracts, ensuring technical and economic compliance. * **Project and investment management** * Participate in the definition, planning, and execution of new projects and investments in the production center's infrastructure. * Coordinate the technical implementation of construction works, installations, or expansions, ensuring their proper integration into the center’s operations. * Monitor the technical and financial progress of projects under their responsibility. * **Technical staff supervision** * Coordinate tasks of the facility technician team. * Assign and prioritize work, verifying correct execution and adherence to maintenance procedures. * Promote continuous improvement in methods, timing, and safety of operations. * **Technical and documentation management** * Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for facilities and equipment. * Prepare technical reports on status, incidents, and improvement proposals. * Ensure compliance with applicable technical, industrial safety, and environmental regulations. **REQUIREMENTS** * Vocational training specialized in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, Mechanical, Electromechanical fields. * Technical or Higher Engineering degree (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Electromechanical or similar) is desirable. * Minimum of **3/4 years** of experience in industrial facility maintenance or technical service management within production environments. * Proven experience in **team coordination** and **subcontractor management**. * Knowledge of **preventive** and **corrective maintenance** systems, and relevant technical regulations for industrial facilities. * Familiarity with maintenance management software (CMMS) and office tools. **What does the company offer?** * Join an established and leading company in its sector. * Opportunity to lead a technical team and contribute ideas for continuous improvement. * Permanent contract. * Flexible working hours. * Competitive salary.
