Human by nature. **Your Mission** As an Environmental Technician, you will join the EHS team, providing technical support for the plant’s environmental management and ensuring compliance with environmental legislation and the Group’s sustainability goals. You will work closely with Production, Engineering, and other departments to strengthen our culture of environmental responsibility. **Key Responsibilities** * Support the technical and operational management of the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP), as well as monitoring of wastewater discharges from production and containers. * Participate in official inspections conducted by environmental regulatory and oversight bodies. * Represent EHS as the technical point of contact in internal working groups related to Environment (e.g., ISO 14000, Sustainability, Green Team, etc.). * Prepare periodic environmental reports (internal, Group-level, and official). * Update product impact assessments for manufactured ingredients. * Oversee environmental assessments in accordance with the Integrated Environmental Authorization, including: + Atmospheric emissions + Ambient noise and odors + Prevention of soil and groundwater contamination + Wastewater + Waste management * Drive continuous improvement initiatives across environmental vectors (water, waste, air, noise, light pollution) together with multidisciplinary plant teams. * Support the commissioning, maintenance, and optimization of WWTP systems and equipment. * Ensure compliance with internal safety, occupational health and safety, and environmental standards. * Comply with—and ensure others comply with—the Quality and Environmental Management System procedures. **Requirements** * University degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. * Prior experience in industrial environmental management and wastewater treatment plant operations. * Solid knowledge of environmental regulations and ISO 14001 management systems. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a results-oriented mindset. * Commitment to sustainability, continuous improvement, and innovation. **Benefits** * Continuous training and professional development program. * Collaborative, safety-oriented work environment. * Growth opportunities within a global company. * On-site medical assistance. * Accident insurance. * Language courses (free English and French). * Public transportation support. * Perfume purchases and access to special discounts. * Employee Assistance Program (EAP) #LI-Onsite At Givaudan, each of us contributes to creating unique taste and fragrance experiences enjoyed daily by people around the world.
