SL ### **Description and Requirements** **DISTRIBUTION PERMITTING TECHNICIAN - BARCELONA** **Description and Requirements:** If you're looking for a new professional challenge, we are seeking a **"DISTRIBUTION PERMITTING TECHNICIAN"** to join our **Permitting team in Barcelona**. **Who will you work with?** You will work within the Permitting team responsible for: * Leading and overseeing permit management activities and legalization processes for HV installations across the entire national territory. * Ensuring application of current legal regulations in each territory, covering the electrical, urban planning, and environmental sectors. **What will you be responsible for?** These are some of the tasks you will perform: * Managing legalization processes for constructed installations to obtain Commissioning Certificates enabling effective remuneration recognition for completed installations. * Verifying economic valuations of agricultural (crops and yields), industrial, and urban properties for application in payments related to easements generated by electrical installations. * Leading expropriation procedures where obtaining all required permissions from property owners is unfeasible. * Ensuring compliance with and application of applicable sectoral, urban planning, and environmental regulations on a case-by-case basis. * Coordinating communication with Construction Units to identify permit management needs, proactively carrying out necessary procedures to secure permits without delaying construction timelines. * Analyzing departmental data and reports and coordinating payments arising from installation legalization activities. * Further details will be shared during the interview. **What is required?** It is an **essential requirement** for this position that you possess the following education and/or knowledge: **Education in:** Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Agricultural Engineering or equivalent. **Knowledge in:** * Technical knowledge associated with the required qualification * Knowledge of the business and HV distribution installations * Knowledge of regulations and legislation applicable to the electrical sector * Knowledge of economic valuations of agricultural, industrial, and urban properties for easements * Knowledge of urban planning and environmental regulations * Basic MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) * Cloud Services, Data \& Analytics knowledge **Experience:** Prior experience in managing permits and legalization processes for HV installations.
