"Smart tech, human touch" is not just a slogan—it’s how we work, how we relate, and how we build the future—together with you. **Your Day-to-Day in This Role:** We seek a **CIO Deputy** who will act as the **IT Director’s right hand**, supporting the department’s operational management and ensuring the proper execution of the technology strategy in a dynamic sector such as **Retail**. The role’s objective is to guarantee **operational excellence across the IT function**, coordinating cross-functional projects, supervising outsourced services, and ensuring technology supports business operations with agility. In this position, you will have the opportunity to: **Operational Management (Run):** * Oversee the daily operation of **key infrastructures and systems** (ERP, POS terminals, logistics systems, etc.). * Ensure system availability and stability—especially during critical sales periods. **Project Management Office (PMO):** * Monitor progress on strategic IT projects. * Guarantee adherence to **timelines, budgets, and technical quality**. **Vendor Management:** * Manage technical relationships with **external partners**. * Supervise compliance with **SLAs and operational KPIs**. **Process Optimization:** * Identify bottlenecks in IT processes. * Propose improvements that enhance operational efficiency and reduce **technical debt**. **Budget Control:** * Support management of the IT department’s **OPEX** and track technology investments (CAPEX). **IT Department Representation:** * Participate in technical committees and operational meetings. * Represent the CIO in specific meetings or operational decisions when required. **What We Offer** * **Indefinite-term contract** in a stable and strategic project. * Direct involvement in technological management within a **high-operational-exigency retail environment**. * A highly visible role within the organization, with direct access to leadership. * A dynamic environment where technology has a direct business impact. * **Continuous training and professional development**. * Integration into collaborative, multidisciplinary teams. **What We’re Looking For** We seek a candidate with an operational mindset, strong coordination ability, and a problem-solving orientation—capable of bridging technological strategy and daily execution. **Experience and Technical Requirements:** * Minimum **5 years’ experience in IT departments**, in roles such as **Project Manager, IT Manager, or similar**. * Experience coordinating technology projects and supervising IT operations. * Knowledge of **ITIL frameworks** for service management. * Experience working with **Agile methodologies or PMP**. * Degree in **Computer Engineering, Telecommunications**, or equivalent technical education. **Personal Competencies** * **Attention to detail:** ability to translate strategy into concrete action plans. * **Conflict resolution:** skill in balancing business needs with technical capabilities. * **Effective communication:** ability to translate technical concepts into language understandable across other departments. * **Execution capability:** a **hands\-on** mindset to rapidly resolve operational issues. * Results-oriented and collaborative work ethic.
