The Role: Are you interested in leading AWS solution design and defining cloud transformation strategies for enterprise customers? Are you motivated to mentor fellow consultants while driving technical excellence across AWS projects? Location: Madrid | Work Mode: Hybrid | Visa Requirements: Valid work permit for Spain | Languages: Professional Spanish and English, both spoken and written. As our new **AWS Architect**, you will lead AWS solution design initiatives and advise customers throughout their cloud adoption and transformation journey. You will ensure consistent application of methodologies and best practices across all projects, serving as both a technical reference and mentor for Associate-level profiles and other team consultants. Your expertise will enable customers to modernize their environments securely, efficiently, and strategically. **Key Responsibilities:** ---------------------------- * Guide customers through their AWS adoption journey—from initial assessments to defining cloud transformation strategies * Design secure and scalable AWS architectures aligned with technical and business objectives * Conduct technical assessments of existing environments and identify opportunities for improvement and modernization * Define service roadmaps covering cloud infrastructure, identity, security, availability, and recovery strategies * Ensure quality and compliance with SoftwareOne’s service standards and methodologies * Provide technical mentoring and guidance to other consultants across various projects What We Expect From You: ### **Requirements:** * Proven hands-on experience designing AWS architectures—including security, identity, IaaS, and PaaS solutions * Experience using assessment tools and working with migration frameworks—including MAP * Ability to guide other consultants and ensure technical excellence across projects * AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification * AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification ### **Preferred:** * AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification * Experience working with the AWS Well-Architected Framework
