We aim to make a positive impact on the world and will support our suppliers and customers to do the same. **Musgrave Spain is seeking a Technical Architect to join our Design and Development department for stores.** **Reporting to the Head of Design and Development, key responsibilities include:** * Preparing layout plans in coordination with the Retail and Wholesale Sales Departments, including franchise stores requiring such plans. 2. Requesting, verifying, and challenging construction budgets from suppliers. 3. Comparing supplier-submitted budgets and jointly agreeing—with the Department Head—on major projects (e.g., new store openings and large-scale renovations). 4. Negotiating budgets with suppliers once the best price has been identified through comparative analysis. 5. Drafting and submitting investment requests required for purchasing equipment or carrying out repairs needed by retail outlets. 6. Awarding contracts to contractors. 7. Developing construction schedules for contractor-executed works, aligned with retail outlet requirements. 8. Supervising execution of major construction projects through weekly meetings involving contractors, store managers, engineering staff, and health & safety coordinators. 9. Conducting monthly updates—jointly with the Department Head—of renovation and new-opening project schedules, taking the investment budget into account. 10.
