At Prosegur, we are looking for a **Database Administrator**. This position is based in Madrid and offers a hybrid work model (combining remote work with office attendance). **What will be your mission?** Contribute to the Management’s purpose and commitment through the effective administration of technological resources, ensuring their alignment with the organization’s objectives, policies, and standards, while providing full support and advisory services to the Technology team. **What will be your responsibilities?** * Administer Oracle RAC databases across various platforms, ensuring availability, integrity, and optimal resource utilization. * Guarantee database backup and restore operations. * Ensure database performance. * Participate in version migration and patching projects. * Participate in cloud migration projects. * Provide business support. * Advise the business on best practices. * Produce high-quality information to drive continuous improvement within your area of expertise. * Define and implement policies for the efficient and effective use of technological resources. * Generate status reports and metrics. * Ensure smooth production deployment of new developments and maintain all environments up to date. * Guarantee platform operability. **What are we looking for?** * Graduate or licensed in Systems Engineering and/or related fields. * Advanced level of English. * 2\-5 years of verifiable experience in similar roles. * Experience with databases: Oracle and SQL. * Experience administering RAC, Grid Infrastructure, and Data Guard (versions 12c/19c). * Knowledge of RMAN. * Knowledge of upgrade processes and patch application. * Experience with cloud environments such as Azure or Google Cloud is desirable. * Experience with operating systems: Linux Red Hat and Microsoft Windows. **What do we offer?** * Be part of an international team. * Work in a dynamic environment with an excellent workplace atmosphere. * Participate in strategic and disruptive projects. * Advance your professional career with a personalized career plan. * Access top-tier training programs. * Enjoy flexible working hours and social benefits. * Participate in our Global Well-being Program. * Collaborate with our Foundation to build a fairer society. **Our Purpose and Values** “Caring for people and businesses to make the world a safer place, staying at the forefront of innovation” has motivated us for over 40 years.
