Main responsibilities of the position
Develop and review functional documentation for shipfitting systems:
Calculate and size systems and installations.
Comply with applicable regulations and standards.
Define shipfitting systems.
Prepare technical purchase specifications for equipment and services.
Conduct integration studies for equipment and furniture within the general arrangement.
Develop detailed arrangements for equipment and furniture.
Generate graphic support in both 2D/3D.
Integrate components into 3D models.
Perform and supervise parametric studies.
Control weight distribution.
Technically validate offers against technical purchase specifications.
Review and approve suppliers’ technical documentation.
Address classification society and client comments.
Manage the Customer Specification requirements matrix.
Collaborate in developing HAT & SAT test protocols.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Bachelor’s degree in Naval Engineering.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
Training courses to be evaluated during Phase 1 (Merit Competition) related to the position to be filled:
Microsoft Office.
2D CAD design (MicroStation, AutoCAD).
3D design and visualization (3ds Max, Blender).
Siemens NX.
FORAN (FPIPE, FDESIGN).
Windchill.
Vibrations and noise.
**Structural insulation:** Passive fire protection, thermal insulation, and acoustic insulation.
WORKING CONDITIONS
**Entry level:** Minimum D2
**Contract type:** Permanent
The selected candidate shall perform duties under the working schedule applicable to the assigned position, which may include regular working hours, shift work, or any other special working hour arrangements stipulated in the current Collective Agreement.
