Description

We are seeking a person for warehouse tasks at a metal industry company in Girona. Responsibilities include customer service—by phone, email, and in person—resolving technical inquiries regarding pricing, complaints, and incidents, as well as directly managing purchase orders. The candidate will also handle end-to-end order management, including verification of delivery notes and application of discounts in collaboration with the sales department. This includes onboarding and registration of new customers visiting the retail outlet. Additionally, daily monitoring of sales delivery notes will be required, along with supervision of the retail outlet—managing stock levels, adjustments, obsolete products, inventories, and incidents. Tasks will further include receiving goods—including loading and unloading using pallet trucks (manual pallet jack, electric pallet truck, and reach truck), proper placement, control, and entry into the system. Knowledge of construction materials and products is required. The position entails a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with split shifts between 07:30 and 18:00, including legally mandated breaks. * Minimum 2 years’ experience in warehouses or retail outlets selling construction materials. * Valid driving license type B. * Residence near the workplace is an advantage. Fluency in spoken and written Catalan and Spanish. * Completed compulsory secondary education (ESO). \- Valid forklift operator license and demonstrable experience operating front-end forklifts, accustomed to handling various volumes and similar materials (gypsum boards, bags, insulation materials...)
