We are looking for a person to perform warehouse tasks at a metal sector company in Girona. Responsibilities include customer service—by telephone, email, and in person—resolving technical queries regarding prices, complaints, and incidents, as well as directly managing purchase orders. The candidate will also be responsible for end-to-end order management, including verifying delivery notes and applying discounts in collaboration with the sales department. This includes acquiring and registering new customers visiting the point of sale. Additionally, daily follow-up of sales delivery notes will be required, along with supervision of the point of sale, managing stock levels, adjustments, obsolete products, inventories, and incidents. Tasks will also include receiving goods, including loading and unloading using pallet trucks (manual pallet jack, diesel forklift, and reach truck), proper placement, control, and entry into the system. Knowledge of construction materials and products is required. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with split shifts between 07:30 and 18:00, including legally mandated breaks. * Minimum 2 years’ experience in warehouses or construction material retail points. * Valid driving license type B. * Residence near the workplace is an advantage. Fluent spoken and written Catalan and Spanish. * Completed compulsory secondary education (ESO). \- Valid forklift operator certificate and demonstrable experience operating front-end forklifts, accustomed to handling various volumes and similar materials (gypsum boards, bags, insulation materials...).
