CEU Cardenal Herrera University seeks to incorporate a **University Guidance Technician** into its team to join the University Guidance Service. This position is aimed at providing individualized psychopedagogical support to national and international students, with the goal of fostering their academic and personal development and facilitating their integration into university life. A **full-time position** is offered, with **exclusive dedication** to the University, within the framework of educational guidance activities and/or psychopedagogical interventions. **Main Responsibilities:** * Provide individualized psychopedagogical guidance to both national and international students. This includes responding to inquiries, monitoring academic performance, assessing learning difficulties, identifying specific educational needs, and supporting adaptation to university life. * Respond to inquiries from and follow up with students’ families. * Collaborate in strengthening mentoring systems and in training faculty mentors. * Actively participate in training programs focused on developing competencies to enhance employability and foster an entrepreneurial mindset. * Coordinate and promote welcome and transition activities for new university students. * Provide in-person support at the Valencia and Castellón campuses. **REQUIREMENTS:** **Education:** * University degree in Psychology or Psychopedagogy. * Specialization in Educational Guidance, Educational Psychology, General Health Psychology, or related fields. * Additional training in psychopedagogical assessment, support for students with disabilities or special educational needs (SEN), high abilities, educational coaching, or digital tools applied to guidance will be valued. **Professional Experience:** * Prior experience in educational guidance—preferably within a university context—will be considered. Direct student support for those with specific educational support needs, coordination of tutoring, mentoring, or academic support programs is especially relevant. * Experience in multicultural or international settings, as well as in designing and implementing employability and competency-development programs, is desirable. * Proficiency in psychopedagogical assessment tools will be positively regarded. **Languages:** * Advanced level of French and/or English. * Proficiency in both languages will be positively valued for supporting international students. **Competencies and Skills:** * Proficiency in educational platforms and academic management systems. * Knowledge of active learning methodologies and competence-based learning. * Strong active listening skills, empathy, and interpersonal communication ability. * Service orientation and educational vocation. * Analytical ability, decision-making capacity, and conflict resolution skills. * Adaptability to changing contexts and ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams. * Commitment to the institution’s values and continuous improvement.
