The daily work of the senior maintenance technician focuses on ensuring the operationality and efficiency of automatic production lines. This professional is responsible for maintaining and commissioning machinery in packaging lines, including filling, capping, labeling, cartoning, and flow-wrapping processes. Performing preventive and corrective tasks is essential to minimize unplanned downtime and ensure continuous production. Additionally, this role involves diagnosing failures, identifying and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical faults across various plant equipment. Actively supervising line operations during the shift is another key responsibility, entailing meticulous documentation of all interventions performed. Collaboration on continuous improvement projects—particularly those aimed at reducing downtime and validating new machines or processes—is also part of the job. Organization and regulatory compliance are fundamental pillars of this position. This includes ensuring smooth and effective communication between different shifts, maintaining order and cleanliness at the workplace, and rigorously adhering to all established standards regarding quality, occupational risk prevention, and industrial safety. The role demands constant attention to detail and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively to effectively resolve complex technical issues. The work environment is dynamic and requires adaptability to respond to changing production demands, always aiming to optimize the performance and reliability of industrial assets. This position offers employment stability through a permanent full-time contract within a dynamic and collaborative work environment. The annual gross salary ranges between €27,000 and €35,000, depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications. Work organization follows a rotating shift system, requiring schedule flexibility from the professional. The company provides an organized and structured work framework, with opportunities for developing acquired technical competencies. A professional environment is promoted where safety, quality, and adherence to established procedures are prioritized. A Medium or Higher Vocational Training qualification in Electromechanical Maintenance, Industrial Mechatronics, Industrial Electricity, or a similar field is required. A minimum of three to five years’ experience in industrial maintenance—specifically on automatic production or packaging lines—is mandatory. Technical knowledge must cover areas such as electromechanics, pneumatics, industrial electricity, and automation systems. The ability to perform format changes, adjust machinery, and interpret electrical and pneumatic diagrams and schematics is essential. Prior experience in regulated sectors—such as cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or food—is considered advantageous, as is experience with high-speed lines. Additional assets include knowledge of hydraulics, PLC programming, GMP or BPF regulations, occupational risk prevention, or possession of a forklift operator license. Availability to work rotating shifts is required.
