You will be a fundamental pillar of our mechanical team, collaborating on essential tasks that guarantee the safety and proper functioning of our fleet. **Your main responsibilities will be:** You will work side-by-side with our most experienced mechanics, assisting and collaborating in the following tasks: * Basic maintenance: Assist with oil changes, filter replacements, brake pad replacements, and other preventive maintenance tasks. * Repair support: Assist mechanics in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and air-conditioning faults. * Workshop management: Help organize and clean the workstation and tools, maintaining order and efficiency. * Technical support: Provide 24-hour technical support to drivers. * General support: Assist in preparing vehicles for inspections, monitoring material stock levels, and performing other facility maintenance tasks. **Job requirements:** * Experience: Prior experience in a similar role (e.g., mechanic, workshop operator) is valued. * Skills: Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team. * Education: Intermediate or higher vocational qualification in mechanics. * Driver’s license: Class C license is valued, as it will allow you to move vehicles within the workshop premises. **What we offer:** * Contract: Temporary contract with strong prospects of becoming permanent. * Growth opportunity: We offer a clear career path for progression, enabling you over time to become a key professional within our fleet. * Schedule: Rotating shifts Monday through Friday, with potential future inclusion in the night and weekend on-call system. * Work environment: A dynamic, collaborative environment with significant social purpose.
