We are seeking to hire an Industrial Mechanical Maintenance Technician for a plant located in Montcada i Reixac, specializing in solutions for cable protection, routing, and electrical wiring installation. The selected candidate will join the maintenance department, reporting to the department head, and will primarily focus on mechanical maintenance of production machinery, fault diagnosis, and part machining using lathes and milling machines. Main Responsibilities: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery. Diagnose and resolve mechanical failures in production equipment. Work on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic components and associated systems. Carry out adjustments, repairs, and improvements to plant machinery. Machine parts using lathes and milling machines. Collaborate with production to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity. Participate in continuous improvement activities together with maintenance, production, and R\+D\+i. Support verification of control systems, automation, PLCs, and frequency inverters when required. Ensure compliance with established safety, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures. Vocational or Higher Vocational Training qualification in Industrial Mechanics, Industrial Maintenance, or related field. Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance. Proven hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial plant is mandatory. Experience in machining using lathes and milling machines. Availability to work rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, and night), with monthly rotation. Knowledge of automation, PLCs, and frequency inverters is desirable. Desirable certifications: forklift license, overhead crane license, elevated work platform license, and working-at-heights certification. Candidate Profile: We seek a technically skilled, solution-oriented individual accustomed to working in an industrial environment, with strong aptitude for diagnosing and repairing mechanical failures. Autonomy, teamwork capability, sound technical judgment, discipline, and commitment to safety and equipment availability will be essential. Permanent contract. Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. Rotating shifts: morning, afternoon, and night. Monthly shift rotation. Join a consolidated industrial company expanding internationally.
