We are seeking an industrial mechanic to work in Las Cabezas de San Juan. Main responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance on machinery to avoid breakdowns, diagnosing mechanical issues, and carrying out necessary repairs to restore equipment operation as soon as possible. You will also participate in the installation of new machinery and scheduled inspections to verify that all systems operate within safety and performance parameters. Work is conducted collaboratively in a team environment, sharing knowledge and supporting continuous process improvements. The work environment is dynamic and demands precision, proficiency in reading technical drawings and documentation, and adaptability to various systems. The schedule is rotating: two morning shifts, two afternoon shifts, two night shifts, and two days off. The contract is temporary, lasting until mid-September, with potential overtime hours depending on workshop needs. Availability for this rotating shift system is required. A formal academic background in industrial mechanics is required, such as a Medium or Higher Vocational Training qualification in Mechanics or an equivalent specialization. Prior hands-on experience in maintenance and repair of industrial machinery of varying complexity is essential. Solid knowledge of interpreting mechanical drawings and schematics is mandatory, facilitating accurate diagnosis and execution of tasks. A valid forklift operator license is considered a strong asset. Additionally, basic knowledge of industrial electricity and automation systems will be viewed favorably for this position.
