At BOSLAN, part of Accenture, we are experiencing strong growth and are seeking an HV/MV substation engineer. * Supervision of HV/MV substations. * Preparation and processing of grid access and connection applications for transmission and distribution networks. * Review of HV/MV substation engineering designs. * Supervision of technical specifications and tender documents for procurement of major HV/MV substation equipment. * Management of client communication for assigned projects. * Technical support to clients regarding HV/MV substation design. * Technical support to clients regarding procedures required for authorization, construction, and commissioning of HV/MV substations. * Supervision of detailed engineering for HV/MV substations (single-line diagrams, layouts, sectional drawings, BOQs, etc.). * Supervision of HV/MV substation calculations (grounding grids, busbars, conductors, etc.). **Education:** Technical Engineering Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering **Minimum Experience:** At least 2 years in a similar role. **Minimum Requirements:** * Minimum 2 years’ experience in HV/MV substation projects. * Knowledge of Spanish electrical regulations. * Familiarity with grid access and connection application processes for transmission and distribution networks. * Advanced user-level proficiency in AutoCAD 2D. * Proficiency in office software (Word, Excel, etc.) at user level. * English language proficiency at B2 level or higher. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Knowledge of electrical utility company standards and design criteria for substations (e.g., ENDESA, IBERDROLA, REE). * Familiarity with communication systems for HV/MV substations. * Experience in electrical installation design using BIM methodology. * Proficiency in EPLAN. * Experience with specialized software for power system modeling and simulation (e.g., DigSilent, Cape, ETAP). * Knowledge of a third language, preferably French. **REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:** * Strong technical, critical, and analytical capabilities, oriented toward efficient problem solving. * Ability to interpret and analyze results from studies and calculations with a critical and constructive approach. * High degree of autonomy in work, complemented by excellent teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and focus on each. * Proactive attitude, flexibility in dynamic environments, and continuous commitment to learning and improvement. * Organizational and prioritization skills, with initiative-taking ability and adherence to deadlines. * Client management experience and capability, maintaining robust, results-oriented client relationships.
