Your mission is to facilitate the import and export of goods subject to customs inspection and to apply current and legally established trade policy measures. Responsibilities: * Facilitate the import and export of goods subject to customs inspection and apply current legally established trade policy measures. * Stay up to date on legal information regarding international trade regulations and current customs legislation, as well as monitor developments in EU legislative and administrative regulatory amendments. * Determine the correct classification and taxable value of products according to their quotas, restrictions, and customs controls, in accordance with rules of origin and agreements with other countries or groups established by the EU. * Resolve incidents arising from these operations. * Carry out assigned Compliance controls and procedures. * Collect evidence demonstrating compliance and effectiveness of assigned Compliance controls and procedures. Tasks: * Create and obtain the customs services required by goods for proper clearance through customs. * Process and attend to ongoing customs clearance requests. * Monitor, advise, and support the importer and exporter of goods. * Act as mediator between importer and exporter when necessary. * Ensure legal compliance for all operations. * Advise and monitor clients on customs matters, providing accurate and up-to-date information on changes, trends, and statistics. * Initiate client assignment files by entering data into the IT system, assigning them an order number as reference. * Prepare all necessary client documentation according to the type of goods and destination country, and draft the Single Administrative Document (SAD). * Interact with clients to clarify questions or issues related to required documentation. * Submit the SAD via electronic connection for registration and numbering. * Transfer filed declarations to digital archive with the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT). * In case of the “orange channel”, submit the file to Customs for documentary review and approval (green channel). Manage the dossier containing all submitted documentation for archiving. * In case of the “red channel”, arrange for goods to be placed under customs examination status and update the dossier accordingly. * Apply assigned Compliance procedures and controls. * Periodically collect evidence of compliance with assigned Compliance procedures and controls. **What You Bring** ----------------------- Requirements: * Education: Higher Vocational Training Certificate (CFGS) in Transport and Logistics / International Trade. * Basic knowledge: Microsoft Office Suite. * Specific knowledge: English B1 level and knowledge of domestic and international trade. * Experience: 2 years. * Minimum probationary period: 6 months.
