CLASS TEACHER \- TUTOR \- ALEPH SCHOOL \- ALEPH\-TEA (Madrid)
We are hiring a Class Teacher \- Tutor for ALEPH School. The position is based at the ALEPH\-TEA headquarters in Fuencarral\-Tres Olivos (Madrid) or at one of the school's Stable Classrooms located in state-subsidized mainstream schools across the Community of Madrid, depending on service needs. The school combines Basic Compulsory Education (EBO) classrooms with this Stable Classroom model, which ALEPH\-TEA pioneered in the Community of Madrid.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
\- Coordinating the individualized educational programming for your classroom group, oriented toward each student’s personal outcomes.
\- Supporting each student in their learning by facilitating the resources they need to achieve their goals.
\- Organizing the daily routine of the classroom group and directing the supports required by each student.
\- Coordinating the classroom team in teaching \- learning processes.
\- Coordinating communication with each student’s family and relaying it to the Head of Studies and School Management.
\- Conducting tutorial follow-up on agreements reached with each student.
Essential requirements:
\- Diploma in Special Education or Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education Teaching with a specialization in Special Education.
\- Experience working in the field of intellectual disability and/or autism spectrum disorders.
Particularly valued qualifications:
\- Experience as a teacher and/or classroom tutor, supporting individuals with ASD and/or intellectual or developmental disabilities.
\- Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC), aided natural language, and inclusive methodologies.
\- Positive Behavior Support, Active Support, and Person- and Family-Centered Planning.
\- Experience in coordination, Head of Studies, or management roles within Special Education or services for individuals with intellectual disability and/or ASD.
\- Willingness and interest in progressively assuming coordination and leadership responsibilities, with potential progression toward Head of Studies or School Management.
What we offer:
\- The opportunity to work within the Stable Classroom model, which ALEPH School pioneered in the Community of Madrid.
\- 75 hours of professional training every three years, counted as effective working time.
\- Academic calendar: one month of vacation plus an additional paid month without activity between July and August, in addition to Christmas and Easter holidays (Article 103 of the collective agreement).
Conditions:
\- Indefinite-term contract.
\- Full-time schedule, aligned with ALEPH School’s timetable, Monday through Friday.
\- Salary: between €35,000 and €36,000 gross per year.
\- On-site work: at the ALEPH\-TEA headquarters (C/ Cueva de Montesinos, 49, Madrid) or at one of the Stable Classrooms located in state-subsidized mainstream schools across the Community of Madrid, depending on assignment.
\- Expected start date: September 1, 2026\.
