The selected professional will join a strategic project focused on the continuous improvement of safety and occupational risk prevention within a highly operational port environment. Their role will be fundamental in promoting a proactive safety culture, ensuring compliance with established protocols, and contributing to the reduction of incidents. The scope of action covers all port terminals, requiring active on-site presence to conduct direct observations and supervision tasks.
Key responsibilities focus on monitoring regulatory compliance, identifying potentially hazardous behaviors or conditions, and engaging directly with operational staff to foster safe work practices. This role involves continuous analysis of logistics operations, review of audiovisual material from video surveillance systems, and preparation of technical documentation reflecting the safety status of the facilities. The ultimate objective is to ensure that all activities are carried out under the highest standards of protection for people and assets.
The position requires a meticulous profile, with strong observational skills and communication abilities to effectively convey prevention messages. A temporary contract of 3 months is offered, with possible extension; a 30-hour weekly schedule distributed across morning or afternoon shifts within the 08:00–20:00 timeframe; and remuneration of 10.10 euros gross per hour, plus mileage reimbursement of 0.21 euros per kilometer for travel between terminals.
A valid Class B driving license and availability to travel between the various terminals of the Port of Valencia are required. It is essential to possess the ability to work autonomously on-site, demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills with workers, exhibit an observant, responsible, and safety-oriented attitude, and be proficient in using computer tools for reporting and incident management.
