




Job Summary: We are seeking a Technical Office Director to lead the machinery and industrial solutions design and development department, coordinating the team and ensuring continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead and coordinate the design, drafting, and engineering team. 2. Drive process improvements and design standards. 3. Manage the implementation of new technologies, methodologies, and CAD tools. A rapidly growing industrial design company is looking to hire a Technical Office Director to lead its machinery and industrial solutions design and development department. The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating the technical team, ensuring proper project execution, and overseeing continuous product improvement—from the design phase through to manufacturing. • Lead and coordinate the design, drafting, and engineering team. • Plan and supervise technical projects, ensuring deadlines, quality, and cost targets. • Design and validate industrial solutions, custom components, and machinery. • Supervise drawings, technical documentation, manuals, and bills of materials (BOM). • Maintain communication with production, assembly, procurement, and management. • Drive process improvements and design standards. • Manage the implementation of new technologies, methodologies, and CAD tools. • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and technical requirements. * Experience: 5 years. • Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial design and/or machinery development. • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams. • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, Inventor or equivalent). • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and metal fabrication. • Leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills. * English (spoken Advanced, written Advanced) * Spanish (spoken Advanced, written Advanced) * Catalan (spoken Advanced, written Advanced) * Competencies / knowledge: Preferred • Project management expertise (Gantt charts, planning, KPIs). • Familiarity with ERP systems and technical documentation management. • Innovation and continuous improvement capability. * Willingness to travel * Driving license: B * Permanent employment contract * Intensive working schedule * Gross monthly salary from '3000' to '3500' * Additional information: We offer • Stable integration into an established and fast-growing company. • Competitive salary commensurate with experience. • Positive work environment and opportunities for professional development. • Health insurance.
