The sports center in Vilanova i la Geltrú is seeking personnel responsible for maintaining its sports facilities. The job’s mission is to ensure the proper operation, hygiene, and safety of all sports facilities and equipment. The position involves carrying out various preventive and corrective maintenance tasks in areas such as plumbing, electricity, air conditioning, and maintenance of sports surfaces and equipment. Training in swimming pool water treatment, formal vocational education or equivalent, and experience in maintenance are required. An indefinite-term contract is offered, with morning shifts (5:30\-13:30 h) or afternoon shifts (15:30\-23:30 h), plus one weekend per month on compensable standby duty. Remuneration is €1,975 gross/month fixed, plus a production-based incentive percentage. Main responsibilities: \- Pool control and maintenance: measuring pH and chlorine levels, monitoring water quality parameters, cleaning filters, and supervising filtration system operation. \- Facility and equipment maintenance: inspecting and repairing industrial machinery, gym equipment, and other sports facilities. \- Maintenance and care of various sports surfaces. \- Supervision of boilers, climate control systems, ventilation, and domestic hot water production, ensuring compliance with Legionella prevention measures. \- Electrical installation maintenance: replacing light bulbs and luminaires, inspecting electrical panels, and maintaining public address systems. Daily and preventive maintenance tasks \- Conduct daily visual inspections of entrances, changing rooms, common areas, and sports spaces to detect incidents or hazards. \- Perform technical cleaning of wet areas, saunas, swimming pools, and balancing tanks. \- Record daily readings of water, electricity, and gas consumption, as well as chemical parameters required by health regulations. \- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance actions on installations. Work environment The facility includes indoor and outdoor swimming pools, fitness rooms, group activity spaces, changing rooms, and other sports areas requiring continuous maintenance to guarantee user safety and comfort. * Experience: 12 months.
