MEP Construction Director (Jamaica)

**Description:** ---------------- **I2M** is hiring an **MEP Construction Director** for **Jamaica**, with a technical background (Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering). You will lead MEP construction projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, to required quality and safety standards, aligned with the Group’s strategy. **Your mission:** Manage construction projects of the Jamaica office and MEP production (HVAC, LV/MV, plumbing/sanitation, fire protection, BMS), optimizing margins and standardizing processes, with cross-functional coordination (General Management, Technical Office, Procurement, Finance, HR). **Responsibilities:** **Administrative** * Approve payments (suppliers, subcontractors, payroll). * Ensure and implement the applicable collective labor agreement. * Size organizational structure (technical and administrative staff), propose training and promotions. **Production / Technical** * Assign resources to projects (Construction Directors/Production Engineers/Field Engineers) and ensure their performance. * Guarantee execution and quality according to corporate standards; manage tools and vehicles. * Procurement and warehouse: ensure internal procedures, evaluate suppliers (quality, delivery time, price, after-sales service), supervise inventories and import deliveries. * Define specifications and brands per project/client based on Corporate Production criteria. * Technical commercial activities: client visits (new and ongoing), technical validation of proposals, authorization of deliveries, management of change orders jointly with Construction Directors and Management. * Promote occupational health and safety (OHS), training, and efficient workforce allocation. * Economic reporting per project (incurred costs, progress, invoicing, outstanding invoicing, collections). **Requirements** * Engineering degree: Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical (or related field). * Experience: MEP Construction Manager/Director; leadership of technical teams and interaction with clients/PMs. * Financial management: costs, budgets, procurement/warehousing, invoicing and collections. * Tools: MS Project (or similar), advanced Excel; ability to read drawings and perform measurements. * Competencies: leadership, planning, negotiation, executive communication, results orientation, safety and quality culture. * Location: willingness to relocate to Jamaica. * Languages: Spanish; English: minimum B2. **Desirable** * BIM/MEP coordination, Lean Construction, value engineering. * Knowledge of local regulations and practices (NOM, CFE, fire protection standards). * Implementation of ISO procedures and supplier management. **What we offer** * High-impact project with real autonomy and direct coordination with Management. * Development and growth plan within the I2M Group. * Competitive compensation package commensurate with role responsibilities. * Housing and vehicle. * Competitive salary.
