




Job Summary: We are seeking a carpenter's assistant with basic knowledge of workshop tools and wood assembly to support various carpentry tasks under supervision. Key Responsibilities: 1. Support in mechanized woodworking and wood transformation 2. Support in the use of workshop machinery under supervision 3. Collaboration in manual assembly and finishing of carpentry items A carpentry company requires a carpenter's assistant who can operate workshop tools (circular saw, router, etc.), even under supervision, and possesses basic knowledge of wood assembly, blueprint interpretation, and measurement-taking. The candidate must meet the eligibility requirements for the Subsidy Program for Employment Contracts of People in Situations of Greater Vulnerability (RESOLUTION EMT/3278/2025\) and therefore must be registered as unemployed with SEPE/SOC, be over 30 years of age, and belong to one of the groups specified in the resolution. The company offers an indefinite-term contract and a gross monthly salary of €1710 x 14 payments. Working hours: Monday to Friday, from 7:30 to 13:30 and from 14:30 to 16:30. Mechanized woodworking and wood transformation: Assist in cutting, sawing, and dimensioning wood parts; help with machining according to blueprints; collaborate in performing simple joinery under supervision. Use of workshop machinery: Support in operating circular saw/table saw, thickness planer/jointer, router, band saw, and column drill, always under supervision. Manual work and assembly: Assist in assembling furniture, structures, or other carpentry elements—including gluing, nailing, screwing, and assembling—as well as helping with final adjustments. Finishing: Hand or machine sanding; support in applying varnishes, lacquers, or oils; surface preparation for finishing. Technical interpretation: Support in reading blueprints and sketches, taking measurements, and marking out parts under supervision. On-site assembly: Support in installing doors, windows, cabinets, kitchens, etc.; assist with on-site adjustments and use of portable tools. Maintenance and safety: Basic cleaning and maintenance of machines and tools; compliance with occupational health and safety regulations (PRL); orderliness and cleanliness of the workplace * Experience: 0 months.
