Job Summary: Project engineer to support the planning, coordination, and monitoring of engineering activities for the implementation of a new production line. Key Highlights: 1. Interaction with internal teams and external suppliers for project execution. **Role Description:** Ardagh is seeking a Project Engineer to support the planning, coordination, and monitoring of engineering activities required for the implementation of the second production line, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, technical, quality, and safety standards — in close coordination with internal teams and external suppliers. The role serves as a key support to the Engineering Manager, facilitating project execution from the definition phase through to commissioning. **Key Responsibilities:** Project coordination and management Coordinate engineering activities related to the implementation of the second production line, ensuring proper task sequencing. Support project schedule tracking, identifying risks, deviations, and corrective actions. Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Safety, and Procurement to ensure smooth project execution. Engineering and technical support Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning of the new production line. Ensure integration of the new line with existing facilities and processes. Suppliers and contracts Coordinate work with external suppliers, engineering firms, and machinery manufacturers. Track technical aspects of supplied equipment, installations, and contracted services. Participate in technical meetings. Safety, quality, and standards Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations throughout all project phases. Guarantee that the project adheres to internal procedures and corporate quality standards. Collaborate in generating and updating technical and process documentation. Reporting and documentation Prepare periodic project progress reports. Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, drawings, equipment lists, and manuals associated with the new production line. **Requirements:** Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field (Bachelor’s degree / Technical or Higher Engineering degree). Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in industrial projects, preferably in production environments. Experience in installing or modifying production lines is desirable. Knowledge of industrial production processes. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation. Proficiency in CAD tools (user level). Strong working knowledge of Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint). Project management experience (scheduling, tracking, reporting) is advantageous.
