Country Spain Province Madrid \- Madrid Application Deadline 18/10/2026 Category Legal and Juridical **Information about the NGO** Movimiento por la Paz (MPDL) **Rating** (25 ratings) **info** Response rate: 49.76% **info** **Objective** ------------ AREA: Legal Advice DEPARTMENT: Social Action **JOB MISSION**: Contribute to the effective access to rights of migrant persons through legal counseling, guidance, advice, accompaniment, and specialized legal assistance in matters of immigration, asylum and international protection, equal treatment and non-discrimination, and, where applicable, labor rights of domestic workers, from a human rights, gender, and intersectional perspective. **DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Provision of legal information, advice, and accompaniment—including submission and administrative processing—in matters of immigration, asylum and international protection, and equality and non-discrimination based on racial or ethnic origin, up to, where applicable, exhaustion of administrative remedies, both in on-site consultations and at other locations across the Community of Madrid where legal advice is provided to foreign nationals due to project requirements. * Provision of legal information, advice, and accompaniment regarding labor rights of female domestic workers. * Accompaniment to public offices and administrations. * Preparation of legal and administrative documents (statements, appeals, supporting reports, conciliation forms) in the areas of law covered (immigration law, international protection, equality and non-discrimination based on racial or ethnic origin, labor rights of female domestic workers). * Development of awareness-raising actions and/or materials on rights in the aforementioned legal fields. * Ongoing legal follow-up and accompaniment throughout the entire intervention process. * In judicial proceedings and cases requiring mandatory legal representation, intervention shall consist of assessing various options for accessing appropriate free legal services aligned with the user’s needs. * Monitoring and updating of applicable legislation, case law, instructions, administrative criteria, and procedures related to the areas of intervention. * Preparation of monitoring reports and final program justification reports, as well as other documents in coordination with other professionals. * Management of program databases or files. * Participation in team coordination meetings, as well as meetings with other departments and programs of the organization. * Strengthening, coordination, and support for the rest of the professional team. * Accompaniment and support for volunteer or trainee staff within the department. * Reporting any incidents occurring within the department to the department’s responsible professional. \- As staff of Movimiento por la Paz \-MPDL\-, you will participate in actions aimed at preventing abuse and harassment, as well as ensuring compliance with and respect for the internal Code of Conduct. **Profile:** **What We Are Looking For** EDUCATION: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Law. Complementary training or experience in legal advisory functions in Immigration Law. \+ Training in gender perspective and Human Rights, bar association membership. EXPERIENCE: Prior experience in immigration law advisory services is desirable. LANGUAGES: High proficiency in French, English, and other languages will be positively considered. IT SKILLS: User-level proficiency in Microsoft Office. Others: Teamwork ability, task orientation, empathy, and dynamism will be valued.
