Specific technical and operational training in nuclear emergencies POSITION: INTERVENTION TECHNICIAN Emergency Support Center (CAE) – Trillo Nuclear Power Plant From the **Emergency Support Center (CAE)**, we seek to hire **Intervention Technicians** to reinforce the **emergency organizations of Spanish nuclear power plants**, with primary assignment at the **Trillo Nuclear Power Plant**. The position targets technical profiles wishing to develop professionally within a **highly specialized, stable, and strategic environment**, linked to nuclear facility safety and operations. **Required Qualifications** * **Vocational Training Level II / Higher Vocational Training Cycle (FP II / CFGS)** in technical specialties, preferably: + Mechanical Engineering + Electrical Engineering + Instrumentation + Emergency Management + Civil Protection ️ **Job Responsibilities** * Support and reinforce the plant's **emergency service** upon activation. * **Deploy and operate CAE equipment** at nuclear plants when requested during an emergency. * Maintain **physical fitness commensurate with job requirements**. * Participate in **periodic training exercises** held at Spanish nuclear power plants. * Be **available 24 hours a day** to respond to Spanish nuclear power plants upon activation. * Assist nuclear plants with **maintenance and testing of emergency response equipment**. * Participate in **activities reinforcing the emergency organization** of the assigned plant—in this case, **Trillo NPP**. Continuity in this position is contingent upon **passing annual physical fitness tests**, an essential requirement due to the nature of the service. ✅ **Eligibility Requirements** * **Vocational Training Level II / Higher Vocational Training Cycle (FP II / CFGS)** in technical specialties. * **Pass physical fitness tests**. * **24-hour availability (on-call duty)**. * Availability to **travel to Spanish nuclear power plants** within **24 hours** of activation. * Availability to travel to Spanish nuclear power plants and to the **CAE headquarters** (approximately **one week per year** for on-site equipment practice). * Customer orientation, autonomy, flexibility, initiative, and **teamwork capability**. * Interest in activities related to **firefighting and emergency response**. * Commitment to maintaining **physical fitness**. * **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in **field work at nuclear power plants**. * Valid driving licenses **C, D, and E**. **What We Offer?** * **Starting salary:** **€22,000 gross per year**. * **Permanent contract** in a strategic and highly regulated sector. * **On-call / 24/7 availability allowance**: + **€3,000 gross per year** during the first year (after completion of the training period). + **Increased to €6,000 gross per year** starting from the end of the first year. * **Meal allowance:** **€2,460 gross per year**. * **Private health insurance**. * **Specific technical and operational training** in nuclear emergencies. * Professional development within a **highly qualified team** in the nuclear sector.
