At VINCLE – Association for Social Research and Action, we are seeking a Community Technician to support the reception and coexistence service in municipalities of the Gironès-Salt Social Welfare Consortium in Cassà de la Selva. Address and mediate community- and neighborhood-level conflicts arising from cultural diversity in communities, public spaces, and services. Provide individual and family support to people of migrant origin to facilitate access to local services and resources. Accompany individuals through administrative procedures, provide guidance, and refer them to mainstream services. Participate in conflict prevention and restorative processes, implementing interventions adapted to each specific case. Collaborate in disseminating activities and awareness-raising campaigns on coexistence and rights. Maintain a constant territorial presence, observing, listening, and detecting situations of tension before they escalate. Work coordinately with social services, schools, local police, and municipal organizations. Carry out detection and diagnosis of conflictual situations. Conduct initial assessments of identified cases, identifying involved parties, the nature of the conflict, and associated risks. Design and coordinate appropriate mediation responses for each situation. Intervene directly with involved parties through mediation, group sessions, and restorative actions. Monitor and close conflict cases. Participate in coordination and training spaces with other mediation devices and municipal services. Provide technical support to the Town Council to strengthen institutional and community capacity in managing diversity. Contribute to consolidating a local model of coexistence, addressing both specific conflict resolution and prevention of escalation and chronicity. * Minimum 1 year of experience. Experience in community or intercultural mediation. * UNIVERSITY DEGREE * Catalan (spoken: advanced, written: advanced) * Spanish (spoken: advanced, written: advanced) * Competencies / knowledge: MANDATORY: University degree or higher qualification in the field of social sciences (Social Education, Social Work, Psychology, Law, etc.). MANDATORY: Accredited specialized training in mediation (minimum 100 hours). Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle. Proficiency in office software and document management. Skills in dialogue and conflict mediation. Excellent communication skills in Catalan and Spanish. Analytical ability and capacity for autonomous management. Organizational ability and rigor in document management.
