




Job Summary: The Gira-sol Association is seeking a Support Unit Technician for a Special Employment Center focused on individuals with mental health disorders. Key Points: 1. Coordination and monitoring to identify difficulties The **Gira-sol Association for Mental Health** requires a **temporary Support Unit Technician** to join its **Special Employment Center**, dedicated to people with mental health disorders, located in **Palma** (Mallorca). ***WHAT FUNCTIONS WILL YOU PERFORM?*** * **Identify and determine**, following an assessment of the individual’s capabilities and analysis of the workplace, **the support needs that a worker with a disability may require to carry out their professional activity**. * **Establish appropriate relationships with the family and social environment** of workers with disabilities so that this becomes a tool of support and encouragement for the worker during their integration into a job and their stability therein. * **Develop as many training programs as necessary** for the worker’s adaptation to the workplace, as well as to new technologies and production processes. * **Establish individualized support measures** for each worker at the workplace. * **Promote and strengthen the autonomy and independence** of workers with disabilities, primarily within their workplace. * **Facilitate the integration of new workers** into the Special Employment Center by implementing appropriate support measures for this purpose. * **Identify and intervene** in possible progressive deterioration processes affecting workers with disabilities in order to prevent and mitigate their effects. * **Meetings and monitoring** with service supervisors to detect difficulties faced by workers. * **Coordination** with other internal/external services or entities. ***WHAT DO WE OFFER?*** * **Vacant Position:** Support Unit * **Center Location:** Special Employment Center (Association for Mental Health Girasol) * **Center or Service:** Palma * **Contract Type:** Temporary replacement (IT) * **Working Hours:** Full-time * **Start Date:** Immediate * **Gross Annual Salary:** 22\.264,08 € * **Weekly Hours:** 38.5 h. Typically from 08:00 to 18:00 hours ***WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?*** **Required Academic Qualifications** * Minimum qualification: Higher Technical Degree in the Social Field or University Degree in the Social Field **Required Professional Experience:** * Knowledge of mental health and disability * Experience providing direct support to people with disabilities **Professional Competencies:** * Empathy * People orientation * Teamwork * Adaptability * Frustration tolerance * Flexibility **Job Requirements:** * Valid driver’s license * Personal vehicle availability * Flexible working hours **Other Desirable Qualifications** * Catalan language proficiency * Experience managing emergencies and urgent situations * Communication skills and ability to work in a team * Experience or training in vocational guidance for people with disabilities **Gross Annual Salary:** 22\.264,08 €, according to the XVI Collective Agreement for Centers and Services for People with Disabilities. Professional Category: Qualified Staff Level I. Base salary paid in 14 annual installments plus supplements and/or bonuses paid in 12 installments. **Training and Development:** You will have access to 25 annual training hours within working hours, aimed at improving your personal and technical competencies.
