PLC PROGRAMMER ENGINEER WITH GERMAN

Within the P\&PD Engineering team (ATS Global), we are managing the selection process for an industrial automation engineer for one of our clients based in Badalona. Position Mission: Programming and commissioning of PLC/HMI for automated installations. Main Objectives: Carry out tasks within their area of responsibility to successfully complete, both on time and in quality, the automation projects assigned to them. Responsibilities: * Analyze customer requirements * List requirements and ensure their fulfillment within the software project * Break down the software project into individual tasks * Plan task completion dates and track progress * Present status/progress reports to the department manager * Inform department and project managers sufficiently in advance of any potential delays to allow corrective actions * Identify customer requests that may incur additional costs and assess their impact on the project * Program PLCs and HMIs * Write user, operation, and training manuals * Prepare technical documentation related to the project * On-site commissioning at the client's facility * Provide on-site technical support and/or telephone assistance when contracted by the client/project * Industrial automation in the automotive sector: o Robotic sheet metal lines (welding/manipulation) o Robotic painting lines (underbody sealing, interior sealing, soundproofing, anti-corrosion, paint quality control, …) Desired Skills and Knowledge: \- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Electronic Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or Higher Vocational Training in Industrial Automation and Robotics, Electronics, or Telecommunications \- Strong knowledge of PLC programming: SIEMENS Step 7, SIEMENS TIA Portal, SIEMENS Safety \- Strong knowledge of HMI programming: SIEMENS WinCC and Wonderware Intouch \- Availability to travel for on-site commissioning, primarily in Europe (approximately 60% of the time) \- Languages: Fluent spoken and written English. German (spoken and written) highly valued \- Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
